Nothing punishes as self-torment.
(...) Cognition becomes split off from the emotions, wich are walled off in order to avoid the pain of guilt. A dissociation is thus created. But since deception is unnatural , some truhts manage to enter awareness. Some feelings of guilt also diffuse into consciousness, in spite of efforts to supressed them, and may be experienced as pains, aches, fears, phobias, night-mares, delusions(...)
(...)The lie begun in self-defense slips into self-deception. This is the end of sanity because it leads to self-negation, wich is the end of being and the ultimate anxiety (...)
